To any young and wonderfully imaginative mind the tower at Seafield Gardens must be the setting where Rapunzel's golden hair tumbled from the window. We love to recall the story and speculate on which bush the Prince fell into.
With the start of Autumn term it is a delight to still see the riot of colour in the wild flower meadow around the base, and see the eagerness and curiosity on the faces of little explorers as they spot fritillary butterflies, bees, and the many insects calling the meadow home.
Tuckton Library is one of the children's happy places and we regularly enjoy choosing new books and re-reading 'old friends'. This year the children have enjoyed bug hunting in the wild flower meadow in the grounds, revelling in the beauty of nature. So much learning and so many smiles whenever we are outdoors.
