Pom pom drop and sometimes even pom pom push, when they were a little too big and needed extra help to fit through the neck of the bottle. We had great fun today at Daisy Dolls with this easy to set up pre-writing and pre-scissors activity. Playing with tweezers uses the same muscle groups as writing or cutting. As well as developing hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills including in hand manipulation and grip strength, there were lots of opportunities to count and categorise the pom poms by colour and size. The lids added a wonderful clatter as the bottles were turned upside down to shake out the contents. Everyone had lots of fun!!!
