P.Y.O. at the Cat and the Fiddle

Updated: Aug 31, 2019

On a warm Wednesday morning all senses were firing as we explored all the different fruit, vegetables and flowers to be picked at the P.Y.O. at the Cat and the Fiddle.

Young children make sense of their world by touching, seeing, smelling, hearing and tasting. Using all the senses makes learning more meaningful.

Therefore, what better way to put them on track for a lifetime of healthy food choices, than to engage all their senses as they see how food is grown.

The children loved seeing their snack time favourites growing in the field.
