It was a pleasure to watch the girls totally engrossed in their project to build the perfect 'soft play'.
There was a deep level of involvement as they came up with ideas for more toys around them, that could be re purposed and used to enhance their builds.
All the time the eager chatter between the girls continued, as the 'loose parts' were shared out and ideas were developed.
The girls had and developed their own ideas, made links between the ideas, and developed strategies for doing things.
There was 'a have a good' attitude as their open ended creativity drove their builds.
Even when some of the towers tumbled, they were simply rebuilt and non of the enthusiasm for the project was lost. In fact in the end the girls were so pleased with their builds they both wished they could go to a 'soft play' like theirs.
