Today we looked at how bubble wrap is made in the factory and with the help of a special slow-motion camera we saw how air gets trapped inside the bubble packaging when it is made.
We then had fun popping some!
The children came up with lots of clever ideas of how they could pop it, from rolling it too hitting it with bricks; from putting piles of heavy books on top of it too wrapping it around a brick and twisting it; from jumping up and down on it too getting their shoes from the shoe basket to hit it; from poking it with the prickly stickle bricks too taking it out in the garden and riding their scooters over it.
